If you were forced to wear one outfit over and over again, what would it be?

In my role as an AGM for a well-reputed newspaper, I spent a significant portion of my life dressed professionally. However, now that I am retired, I want to embrace a dress that I had fewer opportunities to wear the Shalwar Kameez, my traditional attire.
The Shalwar Kameez consists of loose-fitting pants (Shalwar) paired with a long tunic-style shirt (Kameez). I believe that opting for this ensemble allows me to reconnect with my cultural heritage. I intend to choose fabrics in cotton, given its availability and suitability for all seasons.
When it comes to footwear, I have decided on Peshawari sandals. Their variety and unique craftsmanship make them the perfect complement to my traditional attire.
By donning my national dress, not only will I experience a heightened level of comfort, but I will also proudly display my cultural identity and heritage. It’s a meaningful choice that resonates with my personal journey in retirement.
